    “God, I’m so horny.”

The series finally drops any pretenses of setting up plot or character (though the characters here are probably the most entertaining of the bunch) and fully gives in to its sleazy conventions and proclivity for spilling blood for a lean and mean ode to carnal desires and mutilations of the flesh. REMEMBER ME

Film noir broken down to its hard-boiled, high-contrast imaged essential compontets deconstructed and abstracted into a mean, almost cosmic feeling of 50’s era atomic paranoia and doom. One of the most rewarding and unique experiences I had watching a movie this year. I was basically the kid in that one vine who’s anxiously yelling “what the fuck, is this allowed??” at that couple engaging in pda for the last third of the movie. This is what cinema is all about, totally loved it.
