    Jennifer's Body

Honestly one of my fav films. It’s rly cool to see a horror comedy catered more towards a female audience and not shot or written from the male perspective. For girls it’s relatable, funny, and for a movie about a sex demon not hyper sexualised.

Honestly I hid for most of this.

As always Anna Kendrick is adorable and her gay panic upon first seeing Emily was highly relatable. Otherwise not a highly outstanding movie, or one I’ll be watching again anytime soon. It did what it was supposed to do for the genre and all, and the costuming was beautiful. But that’s about it. It wasn’t bad, it just didn’t live up to some of the hype I’d heard.
I still would die for Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively.

Omg I felt this film on a spiritual level as a high school nerd, a queer teen, and as someone who had to move far far away from her platonic soulmates. Not only was this film so relatable but it also had some incredible shots in it. Definitely one of my favs for this year.
