It took me a week to log this because I just couldn’t put it into words. I often log films on here that have given me some sort of impact, but I don’t want it lessen how much it means when I say this film made me feel so intensely. It’s just the way I am with films as well made as this. It takes a piece of me.
Anyways, Ryan Gosling was really in his element here. He has this talent at being both stone cold and full of emotion at the same time. There were many moments that were mainly driven by looks alone.
The cinematography and score was reminiscent of the previous but it didn’t feel repetitive. In fact it made the film. It was beautiful. I wish it were better appreciated.
