Liam’s review published on Letterboxd:
No idea how to rate the Cannes Cut, only to say that once you've become accustomed to the intoxicating rhythm of the Theatrical Cut, watching this feels a little like listening to your favorite song at 0.75x speed and with one headphone on. It provides some much needed context (with the majority of the most relevant info provided in the Theatrical Cut's prologue and the graphic novels), but man does this thing kinda drag! And JT's narration is far too mannered here; I much prefer the soothing delivery of the Theatrical Cut (as it feels like he's numb to it all). Always nice to see more of Lovitz, though - one of the funniest performances that exists.
