That final shot will stay with me forever, Eli. As will you.

True Lies 1994
I've been critical of Cameron in the past, mostly for his scripts (which I often find to be pretty lazy and/or heavy-handed). However, True Lies works in a lot of ways.
The main asset this film has is Jamie Lee Curtis. Her performance is pitch-perfect, and I love every second of it. I also love how the film completely forgets about its action-oriented terrorist plot the second we are introduced to Simon.
The final 20 minutes feel tacked on, but besides that I really loved this film. A true '90s gem.

Framing Britney Spears 2021
America — where a woman’s sexiness is required, only so they can be gaslighted into an “expected” downfall and men can reap financial reward from their dehumanization.

No Country for Old Men 2007
A modern masterpiece. The Coen Brothers create a world filled with silence and then use Hitchcock-esque suspense to tear violent holes in said world.

Mad Max: Fury Road 2015
Well damn. That was quite a film. Fury Road manages to be entertaining with its action and profound with its storytelling. It's not a "blow you away, make you rethink life" kind of film, but it does rip your eyes from their sockets and captivate you from start to finish.
If that's not a mark of a masterpiece, I don't know what is.
