C.H.U.D. II: Bud the Chud

C.H.U.D. II: Bud the Chud ★★½

C.H.U.D. II: Bud the C.H.U.D. A sequel in name, largely.

Straddling the line between pretty dire and moderately affable, Bud the C.H.U.D. is rather iffy on the horror and all in on the comedy. And poor quality comedy it is, largely.

When the best thing you’ve got going for your late-1980’s horror-comedy is a multitude of 70s/80s TV character actors (e.g., Larry Linville, Jack Riley, Robert Vaughn, and Rich Hall), you can be hopeful that everyone got their paychecks.

The movie’s best scene owes to Norman Fell and June Lockhart being attacked by zombie trick-or-treaters. It’s cute.
