Patrick Delmore’s review published on Letterboxd:
I still love the ‘Matrix’ sequels, though they both have diminishing returns from the first film. They aren’t fan service movies, and that’s good because their longevity won’t depend on remembering how things were in 2003. The philosophy of choice and free will being the reasons to live continues to resonate against a system that believes the purpose of life is to die.
The ‘Avengers’ franchise will be forgotten and people will still be talking about ‘The Matrix’, if we make it to the twenty second century.
