Feared that this would end up playing like an 8-hour episode of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, but the strong writing/direction and fantastic acting from the three leads elevate it well beyond that. The first episode is the real hurdle, as it's the longest and toughest to stomach, but it's relatively easy to binge after that (as much as possible, considering the horrific subject matter), and it becomes especially gripping once Collette makes her entrance. If police procedurals interest you and you can handle graphic depictions/discussion of sexual violence, I highly recommend this.
