Oooh a bloody, dense, imaginative movie with so many simple little filmmaking tricks in it that are so effective and very pretty!
A lot of ThEmEs of identity, who we are, what we actually want to do, personal responsibility that I'm sure even if you're not a stabby lil scamp you might find some resonance with. My entry point was living as the sum of everyone you've ever met and the difficulty of holding on to the things that feel most true about you. Also the unquenchable blood-thirst.
And between Brandon Cronenberg and Max Landis, maybe nepotism is good?? jk! Three and a half stars!
