Such a bad movie. It suffered from some kind of independent film syndrome where they think "hey we'll make this movie and have real dialogue, you know? we'll make them talk how REAL people talk." It was boring. They talked about books and homework. How does that move the plot forward? It doesn't. Characters felt two dimensional, the relationship was rushed and stale and all around so flat. i want to start this off by stating the good things about this movie. it had such stunning cinematography, the entire movie looked amazing. the acting was great and had strong realistic characters. parts of the movie that were intended to be funny made me cackle. the people who were behind this movie have obviously done shrooms before because it’s visual depictions of psychedelics were so accurate it was kind of triggering. so the 2 and a half stars are…
