Sound of Metal

Sound of Metal ★★★★½

Frantically falling into a state of loss and bewilderment. A festering rage and a ton of hopeless exhalations. The almost total depletion of one’s senses and the fear of a life in complete silence. The anxious path of reclaiming one’s mental state from the clutches of chaos. Seeking a semblance of tranquility with the realisation that this is something you can choose to embrace and live with rather than letting it be a catalyst for self-destruction.

Learning and finding serenity and solace in the silence through sharing your world with those who live in a similar predicament to yourself.

This is a completely sympathetic and poignant journey of finding hope and Riz’s performance is by far the best of the year. Give my guy all the awards already!
