Ok I LOVED this!!! It was so interestingly structured, so funny when it wanted to be and so dramatic when needed. Jean Arthur is a cutie, Cary Grant is hot as hell as the “bad boy” and “maybe socialist” and “maybe arsonist and murderer” of the film, and Ronald Coleman was a great addition too. The themes of theoretical vs practical law were interesting and came just short of being preachy in a Capra-esque way, but the points made are important regardless. This film was also pleasingly queer / bi in theme, and I wish I could see a world where Dilg and Lightcap could have dated, or a world where all three of them could have lived in happy harmony in DC together... but alas. always love to see some Cary With Queer Energy though!!
