Roma is an incredibly mesmerizing and captivating experience, one that fills your senses and leaves you stunned. It is set in the early 1970s in Mexico, and we follow the life of a wealthy family from the point of view of one of their servants. The social commentary is strong here, yet treated with respect and dignity in a believable way, highlighting the social struggle of lower-class citizens, as well as showing the divide between the wealthy and the poor and how they manage to find respect for each other in moment of personal and social struggle.
