Loved it then, love it now.

I'm not sure who was okay with releasing this complete hack job in theaters.

This feels like a 3 hour movie stuffed in 2h 22m. They snuffed out so much breathing room/character beats, took out so much build up (particularly the opening act) and all so they could get more showings and keep a family friendly runtime.

As it stands this might very well be my least favorite experience watching a Star Wars film and it's particularly disappointing because I could glimpse a really solid film trying to burst out of the seams of this rushed, unearned mess.

There was some schlocky stuff that kept me from properly liking it but it was fairly okay.
