A point that struck me was perhaps prison conditions. It came from when Detective Vick asked if the police officer knew what would happen to Vick’s son if he went to jail.

I wholeheartedly knew I wasn't going to like it but still couldn't resist watching this movie after seeing that YouTube ad.

People need to stop using literary allusions in this cheap way.
