Criterion Challenge #4
Deliciously tense with a sucker-punch ending.

For a premise so full of potential, even though this is a good movie by all standards, I wanted something more. I mean you have four teachers getting blasted drunk in the middle of the day and I chuckled maybe once. The lighthearted parts could've been hilarious. It nails the dramatic beats though, even if it's mainly focused on Martin and Anika.

This was never going to be less than five stars but I wasn’t expecting it to hit so damn hard.

Something about the November chill in the air makes me crave a good sports movie. This was not it. The search continues.
