Hooptober 8.0 - Film #3
6 Countries - Australia
Thought I'd give this film another chance, in the hopes that I'd fall in love with its moody atmosphere and realise its brilliance; turns out my sentiments haven't changed and I'm still not a fan. It's far too slow for its own good, and Jacki Kerin's performance is too flat for the protagonist to be interesting. However, the atmosphere is certainly there for most of it, and cinematographer Gary Hansen had some beautiful imagery throughout.
