this was such an experience...in the truest sense of the word. it showcases how terrifying it can seem to lose your direction but also how peaceful it is to sit with that and start new. ruben’s highs and lows were palpable. welcome to my riz ahmed oscar campaign.

necessary comfort movie viewing

other than feeling really anxious even an hour after watching this i just wanna point out that it was shot unlike anything i’ve seen before. really immersive and fascinating long takes that take you on journeys through the tension as if you’re living it.
