Snyder should be banned from touching a handheld camera for life! It was supposed to be his year!!! Why is this so sloppily directed? Even if I got what it was going for, even if it wasn't so tonally inconsistent, even if it wasn't lathered in ugly blurry digital blandness, half the scenes are just missing the basic fundamental building blocks required to give any sense of location or geometry or tension, and that's not even getting into the supposed pay-off! How come this is half the length of Justice League when it feels twice as long? How come Snyder decided to play to all of his weaknesses and none of his strengths? How did Snyder look at Fallout: Dead Money and decide that what it really needed was a generic ass script and the ugliest blurriest camera lens known to man?
Man... It's not even any of that bullshit that gets me about this... It's that it pleases people like this. Everyone who wanted Snyder to "lighten up"? Congratulations! You got what you wanted!
