I refuse to believe that anything with David Bowie involved is bad, this film is no exception. The puppet work in this movie is immensely charming, a feeling that would be impossible to capture with CGI; David Bowie has iconic music numbers (namely Magic Dance); the set pieces are phenomenal. The film feels a little dated at times but, once you move past that, you’ll be dazzled and enchanted by it.
