nathan smith’s review published on Letterboxd:
this screenplay was written in 2009 and fossilized in amber—divine punishment for every person who ever said "why don't they make romcoms anymore." gender essentialist af. needed fewer holidays. heterosexuality is a psy-op and so is christmas. of course mcg produced this. 1 hr 44 minutes long but it should be 1 hr 28, max.
also very weird coincidence that the australian dude in this played johnny utah in the point break remake and in this movie he plays the patrick swayze role in a scene paying tribute to dirty dancing.
