Happy that Second Sight released a limited Edition Blu-ray of this film because I heard great things from the Pure Cinema Podcast. This fauxumentary is quite effective in capturing the polished, docufiction, Errol Morris style of non-fiction filmmaking. The interviews are primarily shot on beautiful 16mm which really elevates what could have been a redundant found-footage movie.

Great follow-up to a great film. I found this film to be slightly more humorous mostly because the depiction of film school really brought me back. Fantastic performances, great soundtrack and a bold look which mixes 16 mm, 35 mm, Digital and Hi-8.

    Oh... and great soundtrack.

The last sequence is shot digitally. Yuck!

I just wanted to inform those who care that I'm deep in development on my next film. So I'll only be logging for the time being. Not adding any info or replying to comments. But thank you for following me on this platform. It's been fun to connect with fellow film lovers. I'll be back as soon as I can.

Support the theaters when they open! Stay safe! :)

And no.. I didn't really watch it.

All I can say is... I ask for forgiveness from each and every one of you... but especially from Mr. Anderson. I should have seen this on the big screen 9 years ago. But alas... this is one of those titles.... we all have them... one of those that slipped by for whatever reason. I finally watched on Criterion Blu-ray.

    Masterpiece.

    That is all.
