FACT: Sacha Baron Cohen genuinely felt that he risked his life to make this film. Although the police were called nearly 100 times during production of the first Borat movie, Baron Cohen faced arguably more dangerous situations due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to his presence at various political protests, rallies, and riots. He even said there were two separate occasions in which he had to wear a bulletproof vest.
RESPECT! SBC is the man! Oh, Maria Bakalova, you're amazing! I hope you'll get an Oscar nod for this.
This is better than the first film. Also, there's a shocking WTF twist here... and it is ten times better than The Usual Suspects.
