    Johnny Got His Gun

I wanted to take my time to watch this movie that has been on my watchlist for a long time and finally I felt ready to watch it.

I can say many things about this film, first of all is that I felt I was more into an audiobook because almost all the movie is completely narrated.
With a few flashbacks and hallucinations, we have Joe, waking up after war, trying to know if he is dead or in a…

  • The Burning Moon

    The Burning Moon

    β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…Β½

I'm picky with super low budget B movies because most of the time they aren't good, but I'm totally impressed with this one.

I love anthology movies and this is something really fucked up.

Telling your little sister two stories that could cause anxiety instead of peace at night. πŸ˜‚ Terrific πŸ‘Œ

The first segment with the Julia story was very gory - that scene in the bathtub with the burned body was like wtf, where did it come from?…

This was one of the first episodes that I saw and I still remember the rat with a human face πŸ˜‚.
It's been a while since I read some Lovecraft stories and this episode is pushing me to start again.

    Jenifer

I just started to re-watch this show.

It's been a long time since I saw it and
this episode by Dario Argento does not feel like one of his characteristic movies, it feels completely different , not as stylish and very predictable ending.

It's funny the way they project this kind of weird cannibal girl as sexy. I remember the scene where she murders the cat and the little girl 😭.

Definitely worth to watch this again.
It takes me back in time.

  • Stuck

    Stuck

    β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

The last film of Stuart Gordon is just awesome. I love his work and this is one of the best films I have seen about survival-horror. (Also because they are my thing.)

Stuck is literally what happened here and knowing that it's based in a real incident, this feels real, raw, sick and disturbing.

The story is about Thomas who is being run over by a nurse, who is then taking him inside her garage to keep him there, trying…

  • Lisa

    Lisa

    β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

This film has all the vibe to make me feel like I am 14 too πŸ˜‚ When you are foolish and wanna be cool trying to pretend to be grown-up and then all goes wrong. And this idea about an underaged girl falling in love with the killer, is something unexpected because I didn't know if we were gonna see something wrong here but honestly Gary Sherman did an excellent job. One thing I noticed it was that he didn't…

  • Benedetta

    Benedetta

    β˜…β˜…Β½

The whole time that I was watching this film, I never felt interested in Benedetta. Her facial expressions were completely null. If she needed to show rage, pleasure, happieness, sadness, we only saw a neutral face in the whole movie and that's a big turn off for me. I'd want to believe what is happening in the film.
The greatest and bloodiest scene turns out to be just a dream, come on.

There are so many weak points in this…

  • A Christmas Horror Story

    A Christmas Horror Story

    β˜…β˜…β˜…Β½

Every time I was looking for a new Xmas movie, this was on the list and with that shitty poster I had no hopes but hey, it worked pretty good for what it is.

I love anthology movies and this one has a very weird format to tell each story, they cut off each one every 10 minutes so you can't really get into it because this is horrible.

Even with the HD film look, they used some practical effects…

  • Jack Frost 2: The Revenge of the Mutant Killer Snowman

Jack Frost 2: The Revenge of the Mutant Killer Snowman

    β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

Jack Frost 2 is the best of the worst.
This film has a super cheap look and it took me almost 30 minutes to develop some interest in it.

At first I was regretting to watch it, just that home made 90s porn look and bad acting that actually was on purpose was hard to get into.

But honestly I had so much fun then - the story and Jack aren't so important, we don't even see a suit of…

  • Humongous

    Humongous

    β˜…β˜…β˜…Β½

Canadian horror films seem to be really good, and this one didn't disappoint either.
It started very slow, showing kind of sexy girls and nudity the first half of the movie, then it turns completely into a kind of horror/slasher style film, but I still have my doubts about putting a tag on this film.
The creature/ deformed guy is just the result of a rape and he only wants to kill.

Though the film never showed us a close…

    Swimfan

    β˜…β˜…β˜…

It's really nostalgic watching this after probably 15 years, and being obsessed with Jesse Bradford πŸ˜‚ with the generic happy punk rock Soundtrack it gave me the vibes of my childhood, that's why I'm just generous with the rating.

  • The Sheriff's Strange Son

    The Sheriff's Strange Son

    β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

This film is a totally obscure gem, unknown in the Mexican horror movies that I would love as a kid I'm sure would have freaked me out.

The plot is about some twins that were born in middle of a plague with an eclipse and as result, end up together by the same spine and because of it, they will spend his first years in the attic where nobody knows about them.
With the time their dad wants to end…
