Awful and creepy take on mental illness. A poor portrayal of something that is very real all for what? A story about a monster man who kidnaps a girl so he can have friend? This story places it’s best foot forward and is told in a way that translates well for emotional appeal. The comedy is contagious and so are the tears. Come for the dog and stay for the longing and questions you’ll be asking yourself after. A 15 min short such as this which is written, acted and filmed with such heart can be inspiration for a feature. Especially one that expands on the blending of genres (documentary+biographic+fiction) that this short was crafted from.

You’d be better spending your time on literally any adult film site. Not worth the time, or the money that was put into it. Writing is terrible, so is the acting here. And it’s by no fault of the cast either; they are all usually great. This is a prime example of what happens when a team can’t work together or is falling apart due to studio drama.
