This is a hangout film. Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise. It may be a little unconventional by standards but it is by all means a hangout film. Three different random days we get to spend with all these different characters just jammin and laughing with them.

Easily the best film of the year. The performances, the dialogue, the soundtrack.

For me the soundtrack itself is 5 stars. I highly encourage you to search up the soundtrack, get in your 1960’s Cadillac, play the soundtrack and cruise. You feel like your right there, how the commercials perfectly lead into songs and vice versa. I’m not ashamed to admit I’ve done this on three different occasions today.

Let’s backtrack to the dialogue which is awesome. One of the funniest movies I’ve seen in a long time. There’s to many great lines and moments here.

“John Wilkes?...”

That brings us full circle to the performances which no shocker are awesome. Well everyone does a great job Leo and Brad are the clear standouts. They really are the most awesome duo since Newman and Redford.

I’d feel bad if I didn’t talk about the ending, which is absolutely brutal. I had to look away a fair amount of times. There was a heavy sweat going on during that. Insanely intense.

All in all what a great movie. It really makes me wish I lived in the 60s or maybe just this Tarintino’s fantasy version of the 60s.

For my first Tarintino and R in theaters this did not disappoint. First non Disney film I’ve been in where the audience was laughing and cheering the whole time.

I reject your hypothesis.
