Loosiefer’s review published on Letterboxd:
Wow. Great special effects, deeply disturbing and soul sucking but still gripping, and yeah, really wraps it all together to some degree at the end as far as themes about philosophy of mind and the self go, while still giving you something to think about in this particular case.
Stylistically similar to some of its contemporaries (Beyond the Black Rainbow in particular) but still very much its own thing, and very very well acted.
Not really sure what more anyone could ask for, really. That being said, also absolutely not everyone’s cup of tea - the effects are disturbing, it’s probably too intense for many, it’s deeply surreal, etc. etc.
