Well, here's my first review. Hopefully it's bearable.
In all its glory, here's Wong Kar-Wai's signature saturated, hell-dream Hong Kong. Fallen Angels further abstracts the mutual, yearning intimacy portrayed in Chungking Express into a characterization of individual fantasies. Maybe the word fantasy is harsh, but I'll get to that.
