My joint favourite film of all time and it is definitely one I can go on and on about. Everything about it gives me goosebumps and I love it. It was released in the IMAX in China and I jumped at the chance to experience this again. It amplified everything that was already good about the film. From the amazing score by Hans Zimmer to the breathtaking images of space and the various planets they visit.

I've been waiting for the moment that I would truly love one of this man's films and, although I had a sneaky suspicion this may be the case, I have found it.

This film is an absolute masterpiece from start to finish and features two of the best performances I have seen from Daniel Day-Lewis and Paul Dano. Both actors, who we all know are supremely talented produce their best work in my…

I enjoyed this but I’m not sure I understand the hype behind it. Is it because it is just soooo out there in the creative decisions made? I know it’s David Lynch so he is incredibly popular but it didn’t stand up to the expectations I had.

So, where do you even start with a film like this? It has so many levels that I wouldn't even know where to start.

The performances are outstanding and I instantly connected with the relationship between Heloise and Marianne. You could feel the connection between them, the tension, the need they had for each other. I think that is one of the most difficult things to feel when watching a film but I felt every moment. It's almost as if…

I definitely see why this film is so highly rated. It has so many memorable scenes and the way it constantly defies your expectations throughout the film. At first I thought that these ronin were scum of the earth and that the clan was honorable but as the story unfolds you peel back the layers and reveal a moldy core inside this clan.

They portrayed themselves as the pinnacle of the samurai way and for that to be deconstructed so…
