Luke Robertson’s review published on Letterboxd:
The opening section of this film is so much fun as it really focuses on the capabilities of the monsters themselves.
The film is called Monster Hunter. I’m not bothered about the human aspect of it in the slightest. It wasn’t until the final act of the movie where the monsters got a proper place in the spotlight again. The film needed to embrace them and go way over the top with it all. It didn’t do that enough.
