I am a movie

I was shown this movie in my 9th grade english class and the only lesson the teacher had for it was that some people have a mental disorder where they believed they're being watched, a message she believed would be best delivered by Jim Carrey's comedic preformance. I love this movie but the lesson she taught us was so ill explained that for months I thought I had this disorder. Now I know that feeling is just my constant and undying need to be seen and loved. Great flick!
Saw this on a first date where we randomly decided to crash the 20th anniversary premiere of the movie. We had never seen it and had to pretend to clap along at all the inside jokes people recognized about the movie. Before it started I really had to go to the bathroom and bumped into one of the actresses from the movie, but I had no clue who she was so I blew past her, only to come out later…
I first saw this movie in a crowded basement movie night in high school. About a third of the way through I looked around and saw everyone else was making out except me (talk about a social network), so I called my mom to pick me up halfway through the film. It would be a year before I would watch the second half and realize its very good. Great flick!
