im going to start watching sweet/random documentaries on kanopy when i can't sleep and this was my first one

magical!!! while the characters were a little lacking, that was more than made up for by the animation, the music and the overall themes and feelings evoked by the film. wow!!

such beautiful costumes, design, music ---- but all of these stars are for when tessa thompson is dancing around w the broom as an air guitar. the storyline is all over the place though and the script is heavy handed but oh well!

silly and surprising with beautiful colors and hints of steam punk aesthetics! i’m so sold on everything about this movie!!
