Little by little Dunkirk keeps getting closer to being my favorite Chris Nolan film. Don't yell at me if the dude is a master at cinematic language and craft okay?!
As far as Hollywood war movies go this is one of, if not the, best directed and edited ever made. And also what an incredible third act it has.
This looks exactly like that kind of movie that everyone always asks to see. People that complain about the lack of creativity and originality in Hollywood nowadays.
You know what I'm talking about, right?! People who say they wish Hollywood "took more chances" and made more "fantasy/sci-fi" movies. People who loves Star Wars and don't give a pass to an elephant-headed man flying a ship on Jupiter Ascending because it "looks dumb" (but never complained about General Ackbar).
