Lawrence Serrano’s review published on Letterboxd:
A killer soundtrack, a wide variety of cool characters, and a pretty entertaining film make up for it’s lack of a narrative.
Dazed and Confused may not be the best film I’ve ever seen but it has lots of fun moments and this theme of living in the present and living life like there’s no tomorrow is done very well. The variety of different personalities in this film coming together to have a good night really bring out the enjoyment factor of the film since there isn’t much of a clear narrative going on. The soundtrack really does set the mood for the whole film and not a single song is wasted.
I do think that some of the characters are kind of lame and there are moments where we have to spend some time with them and it’s just a little boring.
I don’t really have much to say about Dazed and Confused except that it can be very fun and I for the most part enjoyed my time watching it.
