I’ll just come out and say it: Loki is a masterpiece. I don’t want to reveal too much of the story just in case some potential viewers haven’t watched the Thor films or Avengers: Endgame (which you definitely need to see before checking this series out). The basic premise sees the titular God of Mischief (Tom Hiddleston) in the hands of the Time Variance Authority (TVA). The TVA gives him an ultimatum: either be erased from the timeline permanently or help them with removing other threats from said timeline. It’s exhilarating to see what happens after Loki makes his decision.
The entire cast is wonderful and perfect for their roles, but Hiddleston is the scene-stealer. That voice, the hair, the smile… excuse me, got caught up in a Tom thirst pool. Anyway, he’s magnificent. The Easter eggs sprinkled throughout, the beautiful cinematography and visuals, and the score all add to the appeal of the show. This is a must-watch for Marvel fans.
