A film lovers wet dream of a clear cut cinematic vision of theatrically classic proportions. This felt like a REAL MOVIE. A true cinema experience. I traveled to Tarantino’s theater The New Beverly and saw this love letter in the home of love letters whilst Guillermo Del Toro sat rows behind me. It felt so surreal. It doesn’t get more filmgeek heaven than this. The laughs laughed and the punches punched. This is a daring FEET in where movies can go. Quite literally, there’s sooooo much fucking feet. Being new to living in Los Angeles and having someone as passionate & devoted as Tarantino create something like this about LA as a city just made me feel so god damn special. The needle drops are there and the tense as all fuck moments shine bright yet this is a shaded side of Tarantino I haven’t seen from him yet. It’s maturity glazes like the sunscapes seen in every scene. Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate is a national treasure. QT will get a Best Picture nod mark my stupid ass words. I absolutely adored this & cannot wait to see it a million times. I love movies & I love this type of moviemaking.
