Hey this was actually much better than the 2018 one for me. It has some cool moments and even though Laurie is more of a sideline character here, it still works. It's not quite realistic but it's brutal and doesn't hold back, which is what I wanted to see instead of her chasing him around again. It definitely serves it's purpose as a filler film though to setup the next one. I thought the pacing and teasing character's screen time was entertaining- even if that is dark. After all, that's why I watch these. It's safe but it makes a lot of great decisions regardless.
Also why is Judy Greer wearing a Christmas sweater in this? Did I miss something?
