Mira: When you love someone you become the happiest you've ever been.
I am a huge Dragon nerd. I love Dragons and everything about them. I have read countless articles, books, novels and just about anything I can get my hands on about Dragons. So, when I was looking through my Fantasy movies, I came across this unknown film I must have forgotten about. Seeing that it starred a Dragon, I immediately went ahead an watched it.
I am blown away! What a gorgeous story and spellbinding film! This movie left me speechless and emotional charged! A Masterpiece that flawlessly blends Fantasy with Romance into an unforgettable viewing experience. I watched the version in original Russian with English subtitles and after sometime I stopped reading the subtitles and was so engrossed to what was transpiring on screen that I didn't really need the subtitles to tell me what was happening or what was being said.
What a unique and refreshing concept that was flawlessly brought to life on the big screen. A divine and mystical fairytale with a "Happily Ever After" ending perfectly tailored for an adult audience. This is the exact kind of scenario that I am not ashamed to say that I have daydreamed about myself happening to me on many occasions.
The film score and music was simply beautiful. The Dragon Ritual or lullaby song was so enrapturing I just had to rewind and listen to it several times. The Dragon looked amazing and had a well-crafted and intriguing backstory.
The range of acting in this film was breathtaking to say the least. The film's two main leads, Matvey Lykov (Arman) and Mariya Poezzhaeva (Mira) were nothing short of solid gold with superb chemistry between them.
A sweet and epic love story where love blossoms and overcomes fear in this beauty and the beast tale. Thank you Indar Dzhendubaev!
