Bowery King: Seven cuts. Under Table table is where shits get done. And they're about to find out, if you cut a king, you better cut him to the quick. So... Let me ask you, John. How do you feel? 'Cause I am really pissed off. You pissed, John? Are you?
John Wick: Yeah.
Baba Yaga is back kicking ass, slicing and dicing, and blowing away assassins as he becomes excommunicado in the best John Wick film yet! Fuck me, the non-stop, heart-pounding, supercharged, ultra-violent Action in this film was so fucking AWESOME, I had to remind myself to breathe and had to catch my breath, my eyes never leaving the screen even for a microsecond. That delicious eye-gouging scene gives Zombie Flesh Eaters a true run for their money. Even the animals got in on the action. The action sequence in the stable with John getting the horses to rear kick the assassins heads in was so FUCKING GROOVY (forgive me Ash), I lost my shit. Sofia's pair of Belgian Malinois Shepherds and their crotch ripping technique got me saying OMFG, I want those dogs right now.
Halle Berry (Sofia) and Keanu Reeves (John Wick) kicking ass together totally ROCKED! Great chemistry while on screen together and just so much fun to watch! I hope to see much more of Sofia and John together in John Wick 4. I simply love Halle Berry ever since I first saw her in The Last Boy Scout (another awesome 90s Action flick by the way) and let me tell you, casting her in this movie was the smartest move Chad Stahelski had done as she did not disappoint in this film. Sofia was a sophisticated, intelligent, and total badass fighter that just exuded awesomeness! And haven't the bad guys learned yet never to FUCK with someone else's dog, especially John's or Sofia's... TSK TSK.
What can I say about Keanu that hasn't been said already? I think John Wick is Keanu's best and greatest role, even going as far as to say that this character surpasses Neo from The Matrix trilogy. I think that Keanu is one of the best and most versatile, talented actors of our generation.
The other cast members all gave brilliantly phenomenal performances of their own. Standouts for me were Mark Dacascos (Zero), Lance Reddick (Charon), and Laurence Fishburne (Bowery King).
I'M FUCKING READY FOR NUMBER 4! BRING IT!
