I love Creature Features and especially ones that involve animals found in our very own ecosystem. Komodo was bad but in a good and fun way. The movie provided many laugh out loud moments with cheesy CGI Komodo Dragons and cringe-worthy dialogue that added to the B-movie flavor.
Even the actors seemed like they knew they were in a so bad it's good B-movie. At one point in the film, Jill Hennessy who plays Victoria and Billy Burke who plays Oates, meet up with Paul Gleeson who plays Denby in the laundry room, who was attacked and fatally injured by one of the komodos. Denby dies from his wounds and Oates stands up and shouts out in anger. As the camera pans on Victoria, you can see Jill literally trying her best not to burst out laughing during the scene. Just a moment of great fun and why I love movies. The acting wasn't all that bad otherwise and Jill did a fine enough job as one of the main leads.
I also read that people found this movie to be boring. For me, it was the opposite. I thought this movie was hilarious and entertaining. So yeah, for those that like their B-movies cheesy and campy like me, then give this one a try.
