Uneven and underdeveloped overall, I wish there was just a better structure and focus for its story.
It has the same problem with Saints of Newark where it has numerous amounts of characters and relationships that all are all so rushed that you never really end up knowing how to feel about anyone or anything.
Instant classic. Not only was it scary, but it had great performances from everyone here. The atmosphere and scares were all top notch, never relying on lame jumpscares, and instead going for a much more creative route. I loved all the clever set ups that make the ending satisfying as many other plot twists kinda just come out of nowhere and never make sense.
Excellent film that may only get better with rewatches. The first film to truly scare me since eraserhead
