The Armando Jimenez’s review published on Letterboxd:
Expectations have been shattered. Sorry To Bother You is a kids film compared to this and this has the balls to go where Spike Lee in BlackKklansman didn't or couldn't. This is legit storytelling, though I must admit I am disgusted by the director's work ethic.
Rafael Casas and Daveed Diggs as lead actors and writers flesh out the most contemporary characters to this date. The rhymes could use some tweaking, but the delivery is on par with top tier rappers.
Definitively this year's underdog film and a MUST WATCH.
Long after the credits my heart feels attached to this film in such an incomprehensible special way.
