When that cute sandwich scene happened between Jackman and Janney, I instantly knew I was watching something special. Another thing I also loved, is that through some exceptional writing, acting and direction, this film makes the antagonists look like protagonists and the protagonists look like antagonists; that horrible journalist student who was painted as the hero after unravelling the school’s dark secrets was actually the person I hated the most - I really wanted to see someone pull her hair just once, but seeing Jackman living a lie just killed me and all I wanted to do was give him a big hug.
It’s a dog eat dog world. People are just trying to survive and that’s hardly a crime.
