some good acting some less good acting, good lighting and framing and fun discussions about the male gaze while equipping the male gaze to try to make it seem better. In general I quite enjoyed the cinematography. Also all this toxicity made me so anxious...
This is so confusing and weird. the militarism makes me wanna vomit and the only thing i really appriciated was the nice shots of mess showing the lived epxeriece in space that Luca would scatter around in some episodes. Other than that.... I wanted to skip 30-40% of each episode.... not a good sign. I could appriciate the artsy look and feel of it but everything just made me really uncomfortable. I did learn a lot about how weird (gross)…
There are many elements i could criticise and probably should but this film really makes me hard to do so. I don't understand how Michel can be so charming yet so gross at the same time... Or how Patricia is so stereotypically shallowy portrayed as what a woman is to the eyes of a 60s writer yet at the same time has so much depth hidden in her words.
There's just something here that is pretty great. I shall conclude saying, it's pretty cool. Weird, bizzare, fun.
