Matías Sanz’s review published on Letterboxd:
I'm amazed of how Scorcese in the end of his career can still deliver such a powerful, beautiful and intense film, for me is one of his best among his vast filmography.
Is a more subtle and sad that other mafia epics like Goodfellas for example, the deaths are quick and unglamorous, the consequences are always there, people lives are ruin, the people involved aren't happy, forget Goodfellas and Casino, this is the ultimate Scorcese mafia film.
I wish to write a lot more but I'm about to eat so I leave at that.
