Matt’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is the first Tarantino movie I’ve seen on the big screen so seeing it on 35mm was really cool
Tarantino traded out a gripping narrative for really fleshed out, well acted characters and a setting that oozed authenticity. At least I assume, I’m not from LA and I wasn’t alive in the 60s but none of the sets costumes or props ever took me out of the movie
The great characters and the wacky scenarios they found themselves in keep me engaged for the entire runtime.
Loved the ending too
