A threequel which recognises the glut of Die Hard clones flooding the cineplexes, and decides to change the game completely while maintaining the original's aesthetic. The result is propulsive entertainment that never lets up, with McTiernan cleverly stitching together hundreds of interconnected details and characters in a way that would never fly in today's ADHD marketplace.
