A baffling decision to set this movie in vibrant, neon-lit, apocalyptic Las Vegas, only to trap all the characters in a single bland, nondescript underground hallway for forty minutes.

The absolute epitome of the 1950s sci-fi B-movie--necking teenagers, small towns, flying saucers, military cover-ups, and bugged-eyed, cow-killing aliens!
Unfortunately, it's much better in theory than in practice.

More bland and empty than truly awful, The Mummy is forgettable blockbuster fare that works best when it embraces its roots of classic horror.
