Matt’s review published on Letterboxd:
This movie took themes, sequences and dialogue straight from “The Terminator” and made literally everything cooler. What a cool movie guys. The two films parallel with one film having the “bad” terminator and the other having a “good” terminator. The only thing I find superior in the first movie is the horror style.
Also remember when OJ Simpson was suppose to be cast as “The Terminator” but the studio didn’t think people would be able to see him as a cold-blooded killer. Poetic.
