DC comic cinema seems to always leave me with a weird taste in my mouth. Specifically, they're typically shoddily put together and incompetent in a variety of ways, and yet I'll be damned if they're not at least watchable pieces of entertainment. Simultaneously fortunately and unfortunately for the viewer, such is very much the case here.
It's kind of weird that I don't have much in the way of negativity to say about this film, but then again, I don't have much in the way of positivity either. For the most part, it's a film that merely exists and fails to truly immerse or invest the viewer on any tangible level.
Shoddily constructed, but ultimately watchable. In other words, it's DC comic cinema.
